Russell’s Reserve 15 Year Old Bourbon

Russell’s Reserve 15 Year Old is a limited-release Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, crafted from some of the distillery’s oldest bourbon stocks. Released in 2024 as a successor to the highly sought-after Russell’s Reserve 13 Year, the 15 Year was selected by Master Distiller Eddie Russell and his team for the complexity developed through extended aging. It is non-chill filtered and bottled at 117.2° proof, the point Eddie Russell determined best expressed the character of the whiskey.

The nose brings dried fruit, caramel, nutmeg, clove, mature oak, and Wild Turkey’s characteristic earthy notes. On the palate, spiced cherry and plum give way to molasses, coffee, tobacco, dark cocoa, and seasoned oak, with the extended maturation bringing considerable depth and structure. The finish is long and persistent, carrying dark chocolate, caramel, mature oak, and tobacco. The combination of 15 years in oak, barrel-proof bottling, and careful barrel selection gives this release a distinctly mature and oak-driven character.
