Redbreast 27 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Tasting Notes / Description
Redbreast 27 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is the oldest permanent expression in the Redbreast lineup, crafted at the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, Ireland. This whiskey is triple-distilled from a mashbill of malted and unmalted barley and matured for 27 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry, and ruby port casks. Bottled at 54.6% ABV (109.2° proof), it offers a complex profile with rich tropical fruits, nuts, and dried fruits on the nose. The palate features soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry nuttiness, and a dusting of spices, culminating in a long, warming finish with lingering oak and spice notes.
While Redbreast 27 Year Old is a permanent expression, its extended aging and complex maturation process make it a premium offering within the Redbreast range. Its availability may be limited due to the time-intensive production process and the careful selection of casks used in its maturation.
